Introducing Our Fourth Title...
KOMENAR Publishing is proud to announce our fourth title, Heroes Arise by Laurel Anne Hill. A parable about the pursuit of honor and justice and the right to love and family, Heroes Arise includes illustrations by Jasmine Nakagawa. The novel will be released in hardcover October 1, with excerpts available soon at www.KomenarPublishing.com.
A First Look at Heroes Arise In
a world where justice is achieved through careful customs of vengeance,
Gundack pursues love and the preservation of his honor.
The
desert kren are a nomadic people who believe their customs and
mythology will show them how to be honorable and thrive. Gundack, a
desert kren, seeks revenge for the murder of his wife Talla in the
prescribed manner of his people. He must fulfill a vow of decreed
vengeance and complete a pilgrimage to gain the right to marry the fair
Eutoebi. He forms an unlikely alliance with the human Rheemar, who
searches for a beloved sister stolen by Tarr, the same ruthless
mountain kren who murdered Talla. Gundack, with Rheemar, will satisfy
the vow and complete the pilgrimage. Then circumstances force him to
face the oldest of kren beliefs: In horrific times, heroes must arise.
But can the least worthy prove themselves to be heroes, and the most
worthy at least heroic?
